This October, pupils at Scoil Mhuire in Creeslough dived into the magical world of Wainfest, Donegal’s annual arts and book festival, packed with fun, creativity, and learning! The festival offers a host of activities tailored especially for primary school students, bringing storytelling, art, music, and interactive workshops right to the heart of Donegal.
Highlights for our young learners included live storytelling sessions by beloved authors, where pupils can meet inspiring storytellers and watch their favourite tales come to life. There were also art workshops and workshops exploring the world of sound through synthesised fruit in an engaging and interactive exhibition in the Workhouse in Dunfanaghy.
This year’s Wainfest was a memorable experience for Scoil Mhuire pupils.
