Recently, we celebrated Grandparents’ & Special Person Day in Scoil Mhuire. It was a wonderful opportunity for our Junior Infant pupils to show appreciation for the special people in their lives—whether grandparents, relatives or family friends —who play such an important role in their journey.
The afternoon began with a warm welcome and our visitors were treated to some special songs performed by the boys and girls.
One of the highlights of the day was the shared moments over tea and treats, where generations came together to connect, reminisce, and create new memories. Our guests and pupils then made some St.Brigid’ crosses together to round off a lovely afternoon.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this day so special—our pupils, staff, Mrs. Murphy our Junior Infant teacher, and most importantly, the grandparents and special people who joined us. Your presence and support mean the world to our school community.
