Maths Week 2024 was a week filled with exciting and interactive math-based activities in Scoil Mhuire. Running from October 14 to 22, Maths Week aims to spark a love of mathematics by showing students how math is part of our everyday lives in fun and engaging ways.
Throughout the week, pupils participated in activities like Maths Trails around the school, exploring numbers and patterns in the environment, and puzzle challenges that encouraged problem-solving and teamwork. There was also fun math games for different age groups, allowing pupils to practice their skills through friendly competition. For budding mathematicians, Scoil Mhuire organised interactive workshops featuring hands-on activities that make abstract concepts tangible and exciting.
