16th-20th October 2023
It was ‘Kindness and Inclusion Week’ in our school from 16th-20th October 2023. The week began with a ‘Friendship Day’. Throughout the week we got to learn more about the new pupils in our school from Ukraine and about their language and culture. We got to play with our new selection of board games with pupils in different classes and we also learned about autism. Our 1st-6th classes got to have fun mixing with other local schools at a soccer taster day at Dunfanaghy Youths FC. Our Junior Infants-2nd class got to visit the library and borrow a book with Donna. Thanks to Ms Langan for co-ordinating the events of this week. It was a lovely week for our pupils and staff.
